It’s necessary to emphasize the decisive role that Medina-Campeny placed in the evolution of the sculpture styles, because without leaving the figure, he introduced on his work references of surrealistic origin on one side, and on the other from the geometrical constructivism.
In his work of an evident narrative content and free forms, one can see the dichotomy between form and content, between insinuation and reality, between the absent and the present.
